Grapes: 96% Sangiovese, 4% Merlot

With the 2010 vintage and the birth of the Gran Selezione in Chianti Classico,
AMA is born almost entirely from Sangiovese grapes.

This wine is produced from high density cultivated vines (5,200 plants / ha),
with grapes harvested entirely by hand in young vineyards with an average age of 10-12 years.

Harmonious fruity, full on the palate. Loves Chianti Classico
expresses all the elegance of our company's wines.

VINIFICATION The vinification was induced by indigenous yeasts and separated by variety in steel tanks at a controlled temperature between 30/32 °, with manual pumping over and a total stay (cuvaison) of 25 days for the Sangiovese and 25 days for the Merlot. After racking, the wine underwent malolactic fermentation in steel tanks.

AGING At the end of the malolactic fermentation, the blending of the two varieties took place. Subsequently, the wine is placed in fine-grained oak barriques, without the use of new wood and bottled in January
