Punctually, at the beginning of the summer season, our Rosé 20/26 presents itself in a new guise, to be celebrated. Harvested with 20 Babo sugar values and fermented at 26°C, its name reflects love for detail and careful winemaking.

Thanks to the elegance of Pinot Noir, the softness of Merlot and the power of Lagrein, and a "saignee" vinification give life to an elegant rosé with great character, which with its softness and finesse on the palate creates a perfect balance.

HARVEST 2023

With great pleasure we announce the arrival of a promising vintage! After a typical spring, a cool phase in May slightly delayed the growing season, resulting in flowering only starting towards the end of this month.

The high temperatures, and the drought of June and July, then slowed down the development of the vine again and, so to speak, normalized it.

At the beginning of August the long-awaited rains arrived, providing the vines with the water they needed. The meticulous work in the vineyard bore fruit, despite the challenging climate with hot periods contrasted with cool periods with rain.

Thanks to the "golden South Tyrolean autumn", the grapes were finally able to benefit from optimal climatic conditions and above all lots of sun for a long time, to the point that the start of the harvest was postponed compared to the "historic" date of the beginning of September.

In terms of quality, the 2023 vintage expresses itself with very balanced acidity levels, characteristic fruit and good structure.

WINEMAKING

The three vines are pressed and vinified together from the beginning, according to the classic "saignée" method: the must remains briefly in contact with the skins until it reaches a delicate rosé color.

The sugar content at the time of harvest is 20° Babo.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26°C.

Total acidity: 5.8 g/L

Aging: 2-4 years

Residual sugar: 1.2 g/L
