The wines of the "Collection" line are born in the vineyards chosen by the oenologist in highly suitable areas of Bolzano and the surrounding areas and are distinguished by character, complexity and typicality. The vineyard is located in Gries, the heart of the Lagrein production area, and gives rise to a dense, well-structured and elegant wine.

Lagrein variety

Production area 250 m above sea level, alluvial, sandy and warm soil

Harvest from the end of September to mid-October

Traditional winemaking: alcoholic fermentation in steel tanks, aging in oak barrels and subsequently in the bottle.

Characteristics

Color: intense ruby red

Bouquet: fruity with hints of black cherry and plum, floral, spicy and mineral with typical cocoa notes

Taste: velvety accompanied by the typical acidity of Lagrein

Pairing grilled or roasted meat, game and mature cheeses Serving temperature 16 - 18 °C
