A classy wine, it is born only in excellent vintages. Corvina and Rondinella grapes are selected from the oldest vineyards in the classic area of Valpolicella in the municipality of Sant’Ambrogio.
The Zenato Amarone vinification technique is followed by a long aging for at least 4 years in Slavonian oak barrels.
It represents the absolute identity with which Zenato experience and tradition are confronted in the world.
Due to its particular value it can also be tasted over 20 years.
It is a wine with a compact, luminous color; expresses all the characteristics of its territory of origin with a complex and spicy olfactory elegance.

Period and method of harvest: first ten days of October
Vinification: after harvesting and manual sorting in small 5 kg crates, the grapes are left to dry for about four months in dry and well-ventilated fruit rooms. Only in January, after the natural drying process, the grapes are pressed. This is followed by a slow fermentation for 15-20 days on the skins and aging for at least 4 years in large oak barrels and bottle aging for at least one year.
Color: deep ruby red, tending towards garnet over the years.
Bouquet: intense, fruity (cherry, morello cherry and small berries), spicy.
Taste: warm, full, with great structure.
Serving temperature: 18 ° C, making sure to open it at least one hour before serving.
Food matches: ideal with roasted game, with grilled red meat and with aged cheeses, but also excellent as a meditation wine.
