Azienda Agricola Villa Otto Lune was born from a project of study and enhancement of the Sangiovese grape variety, where innovation and tradition are consolidated to produce wines with a deep territorial bond. The Dini family has been cultivating Sangiovese on the hills of Rimini in the hamlets of San Martino in Venti and Santa Aquilina since the 1960s. The hilly terrain dates back to the geological era of the Pliocene, characterized by a variable texture between the valleys and the presence of active limestone. The particular hilly position of the vineyards located at a height of 100 m above sea level, the temperature range and the influence of marine ventilation, create a peculiar microclimate, where Sangiovese is able to best express territoriality, finesse and elegance. In this project, the collaboration with the agronomic and oenological consultant Fabrizio Moltard was valuable, who followed this project with extreme professionalism from the beginning.
