Located an hour and a half from Tokyo in the Saitama region, the Chichibu distillery was founded by a visionary in the world of Japanese whiskey: Ichiro Akuto. After working experiences in distilleries such as Kilchoman, Edradour and finally in the legendary Karuizawa distillery he decides to create the Chichibu Distillery in 2007. This Chichibu On The Way 2019 is a Japanese Single Malt Whiskey resulting from the assembly of different Single Malts aged by i 5 to 10 years in ex-Bourbon barrels. A small revolution considering that the 2015 edition contained liquids from 5 to 7 years old.
