Talisker Port Ruighe: finished in Port Casks

The Talisker Port Ruighe Single Malt takes its ancient name from Port Ree, the largest town on the Isle of Skye.

This Talisker was therefore born as a tribute to a magical place, which has always shaped the character of Talisker Scotch: a savoury and mineral whisky, as angular as the cliffs against which the waves of the Atlantic Ocean crash.

In Talisker Port Ruighe this profile is enriched with deep vinous notes, given by the ageing in ex-Port barrels, with red fruits and caramel integrating the spices and peat that make Talisker unmistakable.

Color: Dark amber gold

Aroma: The sweet and smoky start gives way to notes of malt, honey, caramel and hints of wood, menthol and red fruit, with the addition of water smoky and marine notes emerge

Taste: Rich, oily and medium-bodied, the notes of smoke mix with spices and red fruits, cherries, plums and notes of chili pepper, with the addition of water it softens and develops a smoky, sweet and salty flavor

Finish: Long and enveloping with notes of cocoa, captivating and intense
