DISTILLATION After a careful selection, the Whiskeys are taken to the mixing plant and are mixed in special vats.
COLOR Amber yellow
BOUQUET The nose is delicate and velvety with notes of elderberry, malt, toffee and salty hints.
FLAVOR Light and oily on the palate with notes of pear, vanilla cereal and citrus. The finish is of medium persistence with salty notes followed by vanilla and cereals.
NOTES Sasanokawa Shuzo is a traditional Japanese liquor distillery founded in 1765 based in Koriyama in Fukushima prefecture, it mainly produces sake and shochu Whiskey production only begins in 1946 to supply the distillate to the occupation troops
