Nikka From The Barrel is a whiskey that has changed the category: for this whiskey the chief blender of Nikka assembles the distillates in the two historic distilleries of Yoichi and Miyagikyo, including a part of whiskey distilled in the coffey column alembic. For the ageing, ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks of different sizes and passages are used. It is a whiskey that impresses with its finesse and complexity. The name takes up the high alcohol content of the bottle, i.e. 51.4%. Around 100 different Nikka whiskeys are used for this blend.
