This wine is the expression of our best wines from different vintages assembled together.

The vinification is traditional, following a careful manual selection, the bunches are harvested at the right level of ripeness. The free-run must ferments in concrete tanks, after which it is decanted into steel tanks located in our underground cellar where it refines on its lees for at least 12 months.

The wine is bottled without undergoing any clarification, stabilization and filtration.

Direzione Papaina is a tribute to my father Eugenio and the remote and wild place that he loved. An island where time has stopped, an island symbol of friendship, adventures and rebirths.
