Description:

Marsannay is the village that marks the northern gateway to the Côte d'Or leaving Dijon, capital of Burgundy and seat of the Dukes of Burgundy. This village marks the start of the Route des Grands Crus which follows the N6 motorway through the Côte d'Or. Marsannay received its Appellation Contrôlée in 1987 in recognition of its consistently high quality wines.

Fermentation

Traditional in stainless steel tanks, at a controlled temperature with complete malolactic fermentation.

Aging

Aging for 8 to 10 months in stainless steel tanks.

Tasting note

A fresh citrus scent. The same aromas are found at the tasting with a floral finish in the wine. Round and velvety, with good persistence, it is delicious when young but a few years of aging will make it even more palatable.
