The Marsala SD0718, with its amber color, offers an exercise in contemporary organoleptic style. With warm aromas of dates and apples, to a palate of ripe grapes, this Marsala Florio is an excellent pairing with desserts and dry pastries, but above all it is the perfect companion for dark chocolate.

Manual harvest, starting from mid-September, of over-ripe grapes on the plant, to build a grape with a high and mature sugar and polyphenolic heritage

WINEMAKING

Energetic extraction forces come into play through the use of the traditional press to create musts full of color, high dry extracts and extreme marine flavor. Fermentations in cement, punctuated by continuous micro-oxygenations, which continue even in post-fermentation, preparing the wine for the encounter with alcohol, to start the first "act to give DOC Marsala"

FALLING IN LOVE

Encounter between wine, cooked must, siphon (grape must capable of giving DOC Marsala mutated - that is, whose fermentation has been blocked - added with ethyl alcohol of viticultural origin) and a small percentage of alcohol

GEOGRAPHY OF REFINING

Marsala Superiore Dolce has experienced a journey of lived vats and 500-liter barrels. Since 11/15/23 it is in the 5FL barrel, in the Florio Winery 113 meters from the sea
