Terroir:
A unique terroir, as its vines are planted at the confluence of two rivers, the Sèvre and the Maine, on a south-facing slope with a gradient of 15%.
Metamorphic rock: gneiss with two micas and garnet, covered by shallow soil. Vines over a hundred years old
Winemaking methods:
Kept on the lees for 14 months, in underground vats with glass tiles, traditional in the Nantais wine region. No agitation of the yeasts. Maceration in contact with the skins.
Tasting:
Pale lemon-colored wine. Floral nose with fruity notes of peach and grapefruit. Excellent structure and minerality on the palate. Very long finish.
